Welcome to the year of Sparkle and Shine! We are going to Sparkle and Shine this year: Think glitter, sparkles and allowing your glow!

As the New Year kicks off we are reminded to make “resolutions.” I like to think of these as New Year Goals and Intentions. Here are some ideas to take charge of this activity and enjoy the flow:

1. Sit comfortably in your PJ’s in your favorite chair or at your ‘puter. Have a cup of your favorite tea.

2. Do Mind Gems (you knew I was going to suggest these) or deep breathing or meditation. Get Mind Gems HERE

3. Think about what makes you smile and feel good deep down inside.

4. Make two columns on your paper, in your journal, or on computer.

5. 1st column: List what makes you feel good about you? Is it a spa day? Is it losing a few pounds? Is it helping others, spending time with your family, cooking, gardening, walking your dog, traveling, hiking, reading, writing, etc.

Idea: Join our Moving Forward to a New Beautiful Amazing You Group, including a January 10, 2018, Workshop in the Albuquerque Natural Health Center office. (Look for webinar coming up for out of towners.)

6. 2nd column: Write an intention to implement  in the coming year ,with a date of completion. These are not set in stone, just goals.

7. You can use this technique for any group of goals. Create intentions for each area: Personal, career, health, financial.

8. Writing them down will begin the process of manifestation.

9. Here is how to really MAKE THEM HAPPEN! Say your goals with emotion and passion out loud while doing a movement! Yes, jump around your living room with gusto and pizzazz. At first you might feel silly and then you will get into it! No, I have not lost it; the action coupled with the verbal makes your intention stronger and teaches your energy field and mind-body-spirit what is going to happen. This is similar to an integration (not as powerful, but good because of the movement).

10. Keep your intentions handy and do this at least once a week. Have fun PIZZAZZ JUMPING!

      I wholeheartedly agree that saying your goal while employing a vigorous activity makes a profound difference. I would add that, then one should take a step, even if it’s a small one, towards that goal or intention, they would make progress towards that goal. Too many times I don’t take an action step and no progress is made. Take action!
