This week we have a special guest on the Brain Soul Success Podcast – Wendy Vaughn.
Wendy has been a long-time entrepreneur and prior to becoming a sales coach, Wendy had a very successful business in the music industry which she built nearly all on her own. She comes from a sales background but also has college degrees and a passion for music.
She wanted to be the one playing the instrument but when that fell a bit short for her, she didn’t give up.
Wendy found a way to transform her passion into something where she could also implement her sales skills and experience.
For a long time, Wendy organized music for weddings in the Scottsdale area and handled about 850 weddings per year. The amazing thing about this is that she did all of this with just a small team of 3 and a newborn baby! Whew! Upon transitioning out of the wedding/music industry, Wendy sold the music agency to start a new life raising her THREE baby boys. Then her family of five relocated to Colorado to raise their children outside of the Arizona heat. She realized that she needed to get back to work and took a role as a corporate sales agent. Wendy says “parenting is 50% sales”. Isn’t that funny and also true?! After working for a year she became the top sales producer and held that position for the next 6 years.
Wendy developed a secret formula years ago when she was transitioning from shy musician to sales powerhouse! She implemented her knowledge and decided that she wanted to share this with others! Rather than working for someone else and traveling 3 weeks out of every month, she decided to take control of her life and build the life her and her family would thrive from!
