This week we talk about betrayal.

It’s not a light subject but one that I believe we should pay attention to. Right now, I am getting a lot of betrayal on the planet from all of the events that have happened over the past year and there is no better time than now, to address it and clear it. As a guest this week, we have betrayal expert Dr. Debi Silber to walk us through the stages, how to heal and what that all looks like when you are in the muck of it and can’t really see the light at the end of the tunnel.

THIS IS LIFE CHANGING!

Dr. Debi Silber is the founder of the Post Betrayal Transformation Institute and is a holistic psychologist, a health, mindset and personal development expert, the author of the #1 bestselling book: The Unshakable Woman: 4 Steps to Rebuilding Your Body, Mind and Life.

After a Life Crisis. In addition to being on FOX, CBS, The Dr. Oz Show, TEDx (twice) and more. She’s an award winning speaker, coach and author dedicated to helping people move past their betrayals as well as any other blocks preventing them from the health, work, relationships, confidence and happiness they want most.

Dr. Debi had her own horrible family betrayal and realized that there was a lot of work and opportunity to learn from what happened! Debi links her feelings of confusion to learning stating that when something isn’t clear the best way to understand feelings and emotions and even betrayal… is to learn. Coming off of her personal betrayal she enrolled in a PhD Program in transpersonal psychology, the psychology of transformation and human potential.

Debi focused on a study while enrolled and the study was about.. You guessed it- BETRAYAL. Her purpose for this study was just to help her own self heal from her personal experience with betrayal from someone close to her but the outcome of this study went on to find 3 ground-breaking discoveries! Her life was forever changed and she knew she couldn’t keep this to herself.

Her study went on the explore the following:

  • What holds us back in betrayal emotions?
  • what helps us heal from these emotions?
  • what happens to us physically, mentally and emotionally when the people closest to us lie cheat and deceive?

We all know what betrayal feels like and we know that it is at times, one of the lowest emotions. We can change this! Listen in to this podcast and really set the intention to learn from this story. I always say that story-telling is one of the best ways to learn and oftentimes, listening to someone else’s story offers us a new perspective on our own stories!
